The tract work in this district of Prakasam, with a population of approx 4.5 million, began in late 2010 after a particular tract outreach crusade was run in Guntur District by Pastor Ephraim Penumala. This resulted in pastors from Prakasam District becoming aware of the tract work. These pastors approached Pastor Ephraim, asking if this tract work could be started in their area also.

In late November or early December Ephraim went there, taking with him some 30,000 Telugu tracts. We will fill you in on what the Lord is doing there just as soon as we have any word.

 

Brethren Danny & Terri, the Prakasam district pastors have invite me to their pastor’s seminar on 16-7-2011. They want to discuss our future tracts ministry to that district, and to share their assemblies’ situations and their needs. Please pray for our tracts ministry in my state, as my desire is we win 1000 souls by the end of this year for our Lord's kingdom, and to do this through our tracts. God bless you richly. We reprinted 30,000 Telugu tracts, and we will use this holy material in the Prakasam district on 18th & 19th of this month. Brothers Danny and Terri, thank you for your kind reply. Yesterday I was participating in a special meeting in Prakasam district with the pastors and 70 new believers. I am so happy for this meeting. Our Telugu tracts are working to save these souls. Those pastors are very interested in taking part in our tracts distribution to their villages. Please pray for our furture tract ministry in that district.

We received this mail today from Ephraim Penumama:
Prakasam district pastors came to my home and shared how our tracts helped win nearly 50 souls in their villages. I am so happy for this good news.
