“God’s divine power has granted us everything we need for life and godliness through knowing him who called us to his own glory and excellence.”

What a wonderful position our God has put us in through what he has done for us in revealing himself to us in the person of his Beloved Son’s birth, death and resurrection. What amazing grace!!

He has granted us everything we could ever need to enable us to live a life of godliness here and now, the only ingredient we have to add is our wholehearted willingness to cooperate with his grace and thereby allow his Mighty Word, the Spirit of Christ living in us, to enable us to do all that we simply cannot do of ourselves. All this to be followed by eternity with him, his Son and all the saints! What favour, he has shown us!!

We are without excuse! The word of God clearly tells us this in 1st John 3:6-9 “No one who abides in him continues to sin. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. Let no one deceive you, he who does right is righteous as he is righteous. He who continues to commit sin is of the devil, for the devil sinned from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. No one born of God continue to sin, for God’s nature abides in him and he cannot continue to sin because he is born of God.”

WOW, WHAT GRACE!!
