Verse of the week - Isaiah 31:1 |

"Woe to those who go down to Egypt {the world} for help, and rely on horses (natural resources); who trust in chariots {man's technologies} because they are many, and in horsemen {man's natural abilities} because they are very strong, and do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the Lord."
I wonder, do we trust in the Lord with all of our hearts, and look to, and wait for, the witness of the mighty Spirit of our God to confirm or reject everything we see, hear, feel or believe? Or do we unconsciously put more trust in our own judgment, or the judgment of others, no matter how good or wise they may seem to us to be.
