"Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh. Those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace."

The right to choose which life we live, as chilldren of the living God, is ours. Christ Jesus died, not only to set us free from the penalty due to our sins, but, just as importantly, to give us the right, the power {John 1:12} to walk in obedience to him, free from the control of our sinful nature, which is still very much alive in the members of our physical bodies, and very active, IF WE ALLOW IT TO BE, but which has, in fact, no power over us, unless we give it the right to control us again by believing and declaring that we are not able to walk in the freedom which the word of our God tells us has been won for us by Jesus Christ on the cross, saying we are not able to get victory over any particular sin, or that it impossible for us to live this day without sin. Please read, and take to heart Rom 6:1-23.
