We all with open face beholding the glory of the Lord are being changed into his likeness from on degree of glory to another, and this comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2Cor.3:18. For me, there could be very little worse than having to live with someone who’s not open faced and honest.

This complete and absolute openness with God was very clearly shown to me the night I was saved, reborn and filled to overflow with the Holy Spirit. I was sitting, naked of course, in the bath when he acted to bring about this great work of his in my innermost being.

He used my physical nakedness to show me very clearly that my whole being, my innermost secrets and thoughts, were open and exposed to his eyes, and that in turn he wanted me to open, to give freely, my whole being to him, no longer trying to hide anything. In simple english, he wanted me to strip away all my pretence, all my trying, all my fooling of myself, because I wasn’t fooling him for a moment, and just let him have his way in my life, knowing his way would always be for my eternal good. What a wonderful experience!
