Jesus said to everyone listening, especially the religious people of the time, “Unless you repent you will all perish.” Luke 13:1-5. The word ‘repent’ means nothing more, and nothing less, than for us to stop going our own way, doing our own thing, but instead turning around and going God’s way, remembering always that “our ways are not his ways, and our thoughts are not his thoughts.” Is.30:20-21 & 55:8-9
